MCC’s Specialized BHRS programs have been developed specifically for children and adolescents aged 3 to age 21 who are diagnosed with autism and/or children who are deaf and hard of hearing and demonstrate significant behavioral challenges. Services are provided in Bucks, Philadelphia, Montgomery and Delaware Counties.

Comprehensive Evaluation and Diagnosis

This program is designed to evaluate, diagnose and formulate a treatment plan based on the needs of each child and family.
Treatment focuses on communication, change and transitions, behavior and responses, competencies and sensory processing.

Helping children and adolescents who are DHH with an autism diagnosis or are DHH and have pervasive behavioral issues learn new skills to help them better manage these challenges from an Inclusive, Deaf Informed Perspective.

Our treatment team will assess the emotional and behavioral needs of each child/family. In conjunction with the family, the treatment team can consist of a Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC) who develops an individualized treatment plan for the child, and a Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS) who implements the behavioral treatment plan.

When indicated, a Mobile Therapist (MT) who provides intensive therapeutic services to the child and family may be requested to help address and support the family from an emotional/cognitive perspective.
