Intensive Family Based Program
This is a child centered, family focused approach to therapy designed to help children and strengthen family structure. The primary goal is to avert an "out of home" placement of children and to keep families intact.
It is this strengths based, team approach which allows specially trained clinicians to partner with the family to allow untapped knowledge, motivation and skills present within the family to be manifested and utilized to resolve the issues which have created the unwelcome stress present in their daily lives.
It is a unique approach which provides for two highly skilled individuals with specialized training in family systems therapy to team up and focus on the needs of the child and family.
The services provided include individual, co-parenting and family therapy. An intensive case management component also allows for better coordination and access to other available services.
Services are provided in the home and community on a 24 hour / 7 day per week basis, typically for a period of 32 weeks.
This program is available to residents of Bucks County Pennsylvania and coverage may be accessed according to guidelines established by Magellan Health Choices.
