Position Overview

Provides in-home personal care and support services for clients who are elderly, home-bound, physically or intellectually disabled. The Home Health Aide collaborates with the client's family and support coordinators to develop an individual service plan with specific goals to enhance the client's quality of life. Duties include personal care, household chores, respite care, life skills management and providing instruction on independent living. Cases are available throughout Bucks, Montgomery and Delaware Counties.

Education / Experience / Training

  • HS diploma or equivalent.
  • CNA or Certified HHA preferred, but not required.

Bright Beginners Academy: Bright Beginners Academy recognizes the need for specialized programming during early childhood and strives to provide an individualized educational and behavioral program which is developmentally inclusive and offers professional assessment and support services when needed. We provide Child Care for children ages 3 months-6 years and Preschool education for children ages 3-6. Our goal is to provide early and ongoing support to children and their families and work closely with surrounding school districts to make the transition into kindergarten as effective and seamless as possible.

Group Assistant

Position Overview

Assists the Group Leader in a Child Care classroom, or Teacher in a Preschool Classroom. The assistant is responsible for all aspects of the child's care, including meals, toileting and group activities. AM and PM shifts are available.

Education / Experience / Training

  • HS diploma/GED, plus 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education or Human Services, OR
  • HS diploma/GED, plus 600 hours of secondary training, OR HS diploma/GED, plus 15 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education or Human Services, plus 1 year work experience with children, OR
  • HS diploma/GED, plus completion of post-secondary training program.

Group Leader

Position Overview

Responsible for up to 12 children in a Child Care classroom. With the assistance of the Group Assistant, the Group Leader oversees group activities and other aspects of the child's well-being, including meals and toileting.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education or Human Services, OR
  • any Bachelor's degree with 30 credit hours in in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education or Human Services, plus 1 year work experience with children OR
  • Associates Degree with 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Elementary Education or Human Services, plus 3 years work experience with children.

Preschool Teacher

Position Overview

Manages a classroom of up to 8 children ages 3-6. Plans a curriculum that includes language arts, math, reading, science, social studies, social skills, music, art, gym and technology. The teacher also provides leadership and training to Group Leaders and Group Assistants in their classroom.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Nursery Certification.
  • Special Education certification preferred, but not required.

Family Based: Family Based work is comprised of teams of two who provide intensive in-home family therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families at times most convenient to the family. Treatment typically takes place in or near the family home. This is done in order to maximize the involvement and reliance on resources in the natural environment and community. Family Based clinicians take part in a three year training curriculum which teaches Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy through The Philadelphia Child and Family Therapy Training Center. Three hours of clinical group and individual supervision is provided weekly. Cases are located throughout Bucks, Montgomery, Lehigh, Northampton and Berks Counties. Our offices are located in Bensalem, Coopersburg, Lansdale and Malvern. Travel is required, as well as occasional evening hours.

Family Based Therapist

Position Overview

Serves as the leader of the clinical team and provides individual, marriage and family therapy in the home or community.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or other related Human Services field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health treatment to children/adolescents.

Family Based Counselor

Position Overview

Works closely with the Therapist to provide individual, marriage and family therapy in the home or community. Provides linkages with community supports when needed.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related Human Services field.

Outpatient: Our child and family-centered Outpatient program treats children ages 3+ and adults with a wide range of issues and challenging behaviors. Services include individual therapy, school-based therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, psychiatric evaluations, psychological testing and medication management.

Child/Adolescent Psychiatrist

Position Overview

Provides strength-based evaluations and treatment to clients ages 3-adult in our Outpatient Clinic in Bensalem. Performs psychiatric assessments and pharmacological management. Afternoon and evening hours preferred. Contract position.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Medical Physician and Surgeon in PA in good standing.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience.
  • Board certification preferred, but not required.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

Performs psychiatric assessments and pharmacological management for clients ages 3-adult in our Outpatient clinic in Bensalem.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Master's degree in Nursing
  • RN licensed in PA in good standing
  • Psychiatric CRNP and must have prescriptive authority.

Licensed Outpatient Therapist

Position Overview

Provides ongoing individual and family therapy to clients ages 3-adult in our Outpatient Clinic in Bensalem. Ongoing supervision is provided and required.

Education / Experience / Training

  • LPC, LMFT or LCSW in good standing
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy or other related Human Services field
  • Minimum of 1 year of counseling experience.

Warwick House: The Warwick House provides specialized, intensive, psychiatric residential treatment to children ages 5-14 with emotional and behavioral problems, trauma, substance abuse exposure and family stressors. The treatment team provides innovative interventions both at the residential facility and the family's home. The goal of the program is to reunify children with their families and provide long term stability for the child and family.

Milieu Counselor

Position Overview

Offers a wide range of training and experience in the mental health field. Manages the residents' behavior in the milieu and provides therapy both in the residential setting and family's home. Through these interventions, the Milieu Counselor becomes skilled at the rudiments of systemic family therapy and trauma-informed care. Day, evening and overnight shifts are available.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or other related Human Services field, OR
  • any other Bachelor's degree, plus 1 year experience with children/adolescents OR
  • 60 completed college credits, plus 3 years experience with children/adolescents

Primary Therapist

Position Overview

As an integral part of the treatment team, the Primary Therapist develops a treatment plan for the child, monitors the child's behavior in the milieu and provides family therapy both in the residential setting and family's home.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or other related Human Services field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience providing mental health counseling to children/adolescents.

Registered Nurse

Position Overview

Delivers quality nursing care to children placed in residential care. Duties include performing nursing assessments upon admission, monitoring vital signs, scheduling medical appointments and administering psychiatric and emergency medications.

Education / Experience / Training

  • RN license in PA in good standing.
  • Previous experience in children's and/or adolescent psychiatric nursing.

Wraparound: Our specialized Wraparound Program provides therapeutic treatment to children who are either diagnosed on the Autism Spectrum, or are Deaf/Hard of Hearing, and demonstrate significant behavioral challenges. Cases are located throughout Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs. Individuals applying for positions in the Deaf/Hard of Hearing Program must be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).

Licensed Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC)

Position Overview

Assesses the clinical and behavioral needs of children, and in conjunction with the family, develops an individualized treatment plan for the child. The BSC monitors the implementation and effectiveness of the plan being carried out by the Therapeutic Support Staff in the child's school and home.

Education / Experience / Training

  • LBS in PA in good standing
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or other related Human Services field.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-master's experience providing counseling services to children/adolescents.

Mobile Therapist

Position Overview

Provides intensive therapeutic services to children and their families. Working closely with the BSC, the Mobile Therapist executes the treatment plan in the child's home, school or community setting.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or other related Human Services field
  • Minimum of 1 year post-master's experience providing counseling services to children/adolescents.

Therapeutic Support Staff (TSS)

Position Overview

Works one-on-one with children who demonstrate behavioral issues classroom or home. The TSS implements the behavioral support plan formulated by the BSC and models more effective social skills and behavior management techniques to the child and family. Data is collected and submitted to the BSC to measure the child's progress and, if necessary, make changes to the treatment plan.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or other related Human Services field, OR
  • any other Bachelor's degree, plus 1 year experience with children/adolescents, OR
  • 60 completed college credits, plus 3 years experience with children/adolescents.

Therapeutic Support Staff Aide

Position Overview

Works one-on-one with children who are Deaf/Hard or Hearing and have behavioral issues in their classroom or home.

Education / Experience / Training

  • Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
